Saves space, expense and energy: the new Linear Motor System FTH Drive

The new Linear Motor System FTH Drive is among the fastest and most flexible dynamic systems currently available on the market. Its lightweight aluminium construction ensures fast motion sequences, resulting in noticeable energy savings. This new development by Franke supplements the existing offerings (in terms of powered linear modules) with a highly-dynamic, ready-to-install component. The stator magnets are integrated directly into the aluminium profile; the motor is encased by aluminium housing. This structure enables the unique level of compaction in the module. The direct actuation enables quick positioning free of clearance. The FTH Drive reaches maximum movement speeds of 6 m/s, and accelerates at a maximum speed of 100 m/s². In this process, the sealed rollers prevent the escape of lubricant grease. Actuator and control components can be selected to suit - and are then completely assembled and configured by Franke. Also, the FTH Drive (just as all Franke products) can be designed to best suit the particular individual customer and the individual case of operation. The setup of multi-modular installations can be realised without difficulty.
